The Adult Study groups takes place on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., during the months of September through March.  We cover many topics, generally through a 6 – 8 weeks series.  This Semster, we are offering 2 different studies during the Adult Study Hour.

“Building the Canon,” lead by Weldon Schloneger, tells the long, complicated, and still continueing debate about which writings belong in Scripture and which do not.  Who determines what is “inspired”?  Which books made the cut and which didn’t – and why?  Is the canon closed?  All are invited to enter into this 2000 year old dialogue.

“Take Our Moments and Our Days,” lead by Florence Schloneger, explores the practice of Scripture Meditation, Contemplation and Centering Prayer.  A main resourse will be Take Our Moments and Our Days: An Anabaptist Prayer Book.
