MUSIC PROGRAM

Music is an integral part of our church life. Music expresses our emotions, excitement, reverence, awe, thankfulness, and more. The texts convey our beliefs, tell stories, give praise and thanks, and focus our thoughts on God.

There are a number of options for involvement in church music. Of course, we would hope everyone will join in the singing during worship; but you may also participate in a more structured way. The music program encourages participation in one of the choirs or other options listed below...

Adult Choir ADULT CHOIR:

Adult choir is open to anyone high school age and above who enjoys singing. The choir practices at 8pm on Wednesday evenings during the school year and usually assists with worship two Sundays per month.

Director: Jerry Friesen
Accompanist: Karen Loucks

Bell Choir BELL CHOIR:

The bell choir assists with worship approximately every six weeks. Their rehearsals are at 5:45pm on Wednesday evenings and ringers of all ages are welcome.

Director: Nola Stucky

"SPECIAL MUSIC"

Other small ensembles, instrumentalists, soloists, etc. are invited to provide "special music" on Sundays when the choirs are not participating, or during the summer months.

ANNUAL GOSPEL HYMN SING:

Each year, the congregation gets together to spend an evening singing old favorites, sharing talents (you'll be given the benefit of the doubt!), and have a lot of fun. Watch for an announcement.
